Taal Volcano⛰ is the highlight of our whole trip. Tagaytay is a popular holiday town south of Manila. It is well-known for its mild climate and panoramic views.🗻 As Singapore is summer🌞 all year round, travelling to cooler climate is the main reason why we want to visit Tagaytay.☁️
It sits above Taal Volcano Island, an active volcano surrounded by Taal Lake. Hmm,but wait a minute, this cone looking mountain is not Taal Volcano.🌋
Look below for the REAL Taal Volcano:
This is Taal Volcano which has a lake and will be the place we’ll be hiking or for us horse riding🐎🐎🐎 and hiking. It has absolutely stunning crater lake with blue turquoise water surrounding the the crater with the smallest active volcano in the world.🌋🌋🌋
You might be wondering how to get there?
⚠️Getting to Tagaytay from Manila takes approximately 3 hours depending on the traffic condition.🚗🚗🚗
I am proud to say we survived the severe traffic condition in the van for 3 plus hours just to be in Tagaytay. So in a way, we must enjoy to our fullest!🏆🏆🏆
Here we arrived at the lake to take a short boat ride across the lake.🚣🏾🚣🏻♀️🚣🏾🚣🏻♀️
Us boarding the boat. The lake is calm and peaceful this morning.🏝🏝🏝
⚠️Note: Several boats are available on the shores of Taal Lake for tourists who like to explore the lake. After crossing the lake, tourists can travel to the top of Volcano Island on horseback.🛶🛶🛶
All eyes looking at Taal Volcano.
It took us around 30 minutes to reach our destination.😁😁😁
So this is what we took, we are really lucky to be blessed with an awesome weather for this trip.🌞🌞🌞
⁉️Do You Know?
✅The beautiful and historic Lake Taal is the deepest lake in the Philippines.🗻🗻🗻
As we are planned to have a relaxing and enjoyable trip, we decided to take the horse-riding package to take us up instead of trekking up the volcano.🐎🐎🐎
Look at our super happy faces being able to take the horse up!
Our journey up was pretty breezy and sheltered with trees. The journey takes about an hour. For the real fit people that love to trek can choose to trek up, our guides followed us by trekking up.🏋🏽♀️🏋🏽♀️🏋🏽♀️
⚠️Note: Hiking boots or running shoes are advised — the path is sometimes uneven and unstable.👟👟👟
Our energised face as we don’t have to trek.
To our dismay, we need to do a little bit of exercise to reach the peak, Taal Volcano.
Let’s exercise and walk a bit then!😜😜😜
⚠️Note: The last mile trek can be scorching with almost unbearable heat as there is no shelter. Do apply lots of sunblock, hat and sunglass. Drink lots of water and keep hydrated.🌂🕶☂️
While walking up, some really interesting and innovative activity in Taal.
A fresh new experience playing golf from an active volcano.🏌🏼🏌🏼🏌🏼

‼️Do try this once in a lifetime Golf activity!
Finally, we reached the top to see the Taal Volcano. The view is indeed Magnificent that we could not stop looking and enjoying!🌋🌋🌋
Us posing like a model at this natural rugged, rocky rocks.
We are truly fortunate with the lovely weather so that we can take our time to climb to look at this panorama view. The beautiful Taal Lake is a large freshwater lake and is one of the most remarkable and popular lakes in the Philippines.😃😃😃
The trek I would say is not easy but not too tough too. We just need to be a bit mindful and careful about where we step.👣👣👣
This is one of the viewing gallery point at the highest peak with unblock view. We stood there for really a long long long while as we are busy taking beautiful instagrammable cool shots!⛰⛰⛰
One group photo with the Tagaytay guide and team!
One last shot of this awesome Taal volcano with my horse before heading down.🐎🐎🐎
As some would say, a visit in the Philippines will not be complete without seeing the scenic and beautiful Taal Volcano. So now I can say that I have been to Philippines! ✅ Wohooooo…😂😂😂
We are almost back to the starting point.
Thanks horses for bringing us up to Taal Volcano.
There is a little restaurant where we can chill and relax. We ordered some drinks to quench our thirst as the weather was really hot.😁😁😁
We managed to also see some piglet roaming around the village. We were really excited as we don’t usually get to see it in the city.🐷🐷🐷
After visiting the scenic and beautiful volcano, we took the boat ride and safely reached back to the mainland.🛶🛶🛶
Are you ready to take the risk⁉️
✅It is definitely worth to explore for adventurer!🌄🌄🌄
The higher you climb or take the horse, the enchanting views awaits with the crystalline waters of Taal Lake.😍😍😍
