Khao Yai🇹🇭 – Not many people heard or know about this place, it is not as popular as Hua Hin or Bangkok where most people heard about. Nevertheless, Khao Yai is getting popular nowadays with many cool and fun attractions to explore. It is located just less than 2 hours drive from Bangkok.🗺🗺🗺
I love this place myself too so I would recommend people to go especially when many have been to Bangkok many times, so take this chance to travel out from Bangkok to this exciting place!🤗🤗🤗
🥁Here’s 12 attractions why you should go Khao Yai:
1) PB Valley – Khao Yai Winery
Winery near Bangkok? Most would not believe… Yes, there is a winery at PB Valley. In fact, it is the largest vineyard in Khao Yai.🥂🍾🍹
✅Strongly recommended: Take a vineyard and winery tour in PB Valley🍷🍷🍷
⚠️The tour is conducted 5 times a day (09:00 am, 10:30 am, 12:00 noon,01:30 pm and 03:30 pm)
‼️Each tour is about 75 minutes and the guide is English speaking.
Harvesting of wine grapes is from end of January to the middle of March each year.🍇🍇🍇
We are able to go into the fermentation room where we were guided on the production flow of winery and wine making process.😄😄😄
After the production process, there is a wine tasting session where we can try the different types of wines Khao Yai has to offer. For those who don’t drink wine, fret not, PB Valley will serve fresh Shiraz Grape Juice to you instead!🥂🥂🥂
It was an informative and fun excursion through the PB Valley and all our us enjoyed ourselves throughout with the tractor ride bringing us to the different pit stop and also the very professional and funny guide with really proficient English!✅
Interesting fact: During harvesting session, guests can have the opportunity to extract the juice by crushing, stepping and stomping on the grapes!🍇🍇🍇

3) Primo Piazza
It was raining when we reached Primo Piazza but this didn’t spoil our mood as the atmosphere feels like we are in Italy.
In fact, the rain made it feels dreamy and cooling though we have to carry our umbrella into this Piazza.☂️☂️☂️
It was pretty empty when we arrived and we are able to explore and take nice photos without people around. It is a pretty small place but a cosy one I would say.🤗🤗🤗
To me, I was just amazed that there is such unique attraction in Khao Yai.❤️
Every photo angle is just really nice with Spacious field filled with European style architecture.🎪🎪🎪
✅For animal lovers, there are alpaca and sheep in the shed.
We had the opportunity to touch and feed the animals too. In the normal days that is not raining, the animals will be able to run around in the grassland.😄👍
‼️Tip: The entrance fee includes animal feeding!
Do visit the lovely architecture as well as the animals in here!

Palio is an Italian-themed shopping center. Ladies like me just love to shop, see see and look look even if we don’t buy anything. Chiong ah… what’s best is that we feel like we are in some Italian village!💃🏼🕺🏼💃🏼🕺🏼
Up down left right just look so beautiful everywhere that we kept using our cameras and phones to take many photos in this place. No one would know that this is in Khao Yai actually as the architecture resemble like Tuscan village.🏘🏘🏘
As we didn’t have much things to shop though there are many unique shops, things are priced on the high end as well, we then took wefies around the areas.😄😄😄
There are many fruits and food shops that caught our attention. The grapes look fresh and sweet. 🍇🍇🍇
Check out our super happy faces!😂😂😂
As we can’t resist to the temptations, we bought some local delicacy from Palio.
For us, we bought wrapped mushroom, mulberry and grapes as we really love it a lot!
‼️Tips: You can try the food before you decide to buy. We tried most of the shops before selecting which to buy!
5) Ban Mai Chay Nam Museum and Restaurant
Welcome to Banmai museum, a MUST visit place when you are in Khao Yai.
This place is a restaurant, resort and a toy museum with many interesting collections.🎬🎤🥁🎨
There are just so many vintage and modern toys and statues. We could just spend about few hours looking through the cool collection from the owner.🤹🏼♀️🤹🏼♀️🤹🏼♀️
We are able to see so many retro vintage items and antiques from our childhood days.🎰🎰🎰
After looking at the many toys, we were hungry and we settled down at the restaurant for dinner.🍽🍽🍽
There is a river by the restaurant where you can enjoy dinner by the river. The restaurant is a wooden house on the bank of the stream.
‼️Note: There are mosquitoes so do prepare insect repellant to prevent bites like me.
Banmai has a restaurant and resort but their main attraction is their museum that has one of the most comprehensive collection of toys, antiques and other collectibles by the owner.
It is a pretty great place for food and to explore the museum.😄😄😄

This resort has many different themes and this is Wild Wild West theme.💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼
✅We arrived at about 9am at Panther Creek. It is very quiet and peaceful as most people as still sleeping.
There is also a nice waterfall slide pool where kids can play and have fun.
‼️Personally, I like the theme in Panther Creek where we are just in Khao Yai but we felt like we have been to many different countries in such a short time.
For guests staying at Panther Creek, there is a cowboy performance at night.

There are also dry rides such as family rides and also exciting rides. For us, we went for the extreme activity.😛😛😛
Don’t underestimate this Everslide, though it seems easy, it is actually really quick with the board that we sat on.
My cap flew out while I was sliding down.
And we felt like a child again!👶🏻👶🏻👶🏻
Definitely can’t miss a roller coaster ride in the theme park, a must try for us and I would recommend those that love extreme activities.👧🏼👧🏼👧🏼
This was the highlight of our Scenic world where we tried the GX Swing.👀👀👀
GX Swing was such an adrenaline-inducing attraction where a slingshot that swing us into the air at high speed.

10) Farm Chok Chai
Farm Chok Chai is the top thing to do in Pak Chong by Tripadvisor. It is also is South Asia’s largest dairy farm.🐂🐂🐂
The farm tour brings us around the farm to provide visitors with the knowledge from cow- breeding to milking as well as making of ice cream and ending the tour with a cowboy show. 🐎🐎🐎
✅This tour is very professional and informative. The guide gave us a poncho as it was raining heavily. Thereafter, we boarded the tractor train which bring us to different stops.😄😄😄
Mooooo… This is Farm Chok Chai own breed as part of their genetic engineering programme. It is a cross breed between Hoistein Friesian and Asian native breeds. The cross breed is easier to manage because it is acclimatized to the tropical weather of Thailand.😛😛😛
After the sharing session, we moved on to milking the cow. These cows are raised by their new technology which focus on the well being of cows. Farm Chok Chai believed that happy cows will give more milk and better quality milk.🍶🍶🍶
Next up, we took the tractor train to their ice cream production and we had the chance to taste their new ice cream flavour- Banana ice cream. Though I dislike banana, this banana ice cream taste refresh and creamy.🍦🍦🍦
The last pit stop was the cow-boy show where all the different farm animals come together for a 10 minutes performance. After the show, there are also stations where we can try the stunts and shooting games or even ride a pony.🐴🐴🐴
The tour was very well conducted and was a new experience for all of us. I was impressed by the scale & scenery around the farm. I highly recommend a visit as it is suitable for all ages.👨👨👧👦👨👨👧👦👨👨👧👦

11) Pak Chong Night market
Pak Chong night market is a evening market that sell a varieties of local made products with food, clothes and souvenir.🍒🥘🍝🍢
There are many Thai street food where we went there to but the food on two nights as there are just so many local Thai food that we crave for from Mango salad, Mango sticky rice, skewers, fish, noodles, seafood and many more.
We bought the food that we crave for and bring back to our hotel to eat together as there are no tables and chairs.🍴🍴🍴
This night market is not as huge and big as those in Bangkok. It is just two rows night market but they have many varieties of items. As this is a local night market, most are in Thai words and we had to point to the vendor what we want but they are generally very friendly.😂😂😂
Address: 78 Bypass Road, Pak Chong, Thailand
12) Khao Yai National Park
Khao Yai National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Thailand.

We are lucky to see deers along our way in the national park. The park shelters diverse wildlife such as deers bears, gibbons, elephants and hornbills.🐘🐏🦌
The weather in the national park is the best throughout our trip with a 18.1 degrees. Shiok Shiok Shiok…👍👍👍😂😂😂
‼️There are challenges ahead before we can reach Haew Narok Waterfall. There are just so many steps that I have lost count and I kept asking how long more as I can’t hear the sound of waterfall anywhere near.
Finally, we reached after about 20mins of steps. As there is not enough water, the waterfall is not as impressive as I imagined. I guessed many others will have better Haew Narok waterfall than me.😐😐😐
‼️The walk was about 1km in each direction.
We spent almost an hour, which encompassed the hiking and all the picture taking.🏃🏻♀️🏃🏾🏃🏻♀️🏃🏾
