Boarding:
Our journey began on a Wednesday, with the boarding gate opening at 3 pm. After embarking, we eagerly headed to our balcony room to take in the stunning views before exploring the ship further. Dinner was our first order of business, and we enjoyed a sumptuous meal at one of the ship’s restaurants. Following dinner, we visited the Captain’s Bridge Viewing Room and capped off the evening with a fun game of bingo at Deck 6 mid.

All Aboard the Genting Dream:
As soon as we stepped foot on the Genting Dream, we were instantly captivated by the sheer size and elegance of the ship. With a capacity to accommodate over 3,400 passengers, the Genting Dream boasts an impressive array of facilities, including multiple dining options, entertainment venues, and recreational activities to keep guests of all ages entertained throughout the voyage.

Entertainment for All Ages:
Genting Dream ensures that there’s never a dull moment on board with its vast selection of entertainment options. Our family enjoyed watching the awe-inspiring magic show performances at Zodiac Theatre, while the adults had a fantastic time trying their luck at the ship’s casino.

Fun Activities:
The Genting Dream offered a plethora of activities for every family member to enjoy. We spent our days swimming, tackling the water slides and water playground. We also tried our hand at mini-golf, table tennis, rope course, and zipline, and attended some entertaining activities such as clay making and lantern making workshops. Our kids had a blast at the Little Dreamers Club on their own while we are relaxing in the jacuzzi right outside the kids’ club.

Culinary Experiences:
One of the highlights of our cruise was the seemingly endless array of delicious food options. We dined at the Dream Dining (Lower Deck) for a Western meal with a semi-buffet, enjoyed a Chinese cuisine buffet at Dream Dining (Upper Deck), and indulged in an international buffet at The Lido. We ate to our heart’s content, having breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even supper throughout the day.

Final Thoughts:
Our 3-day, 2-night cruise aboard the Genting Dream by Resorts World Cruises proved to be an incredible family experience that we’ll cherish for years to come. With countless activities to keep us entertained, an amazing selection of dining options, and a well-planned itinerary, we couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend quality time together while exploring new destinations. We highly recommend the Genting Dream for families seeking a fun and memorable vacation on the high seas.
