Where should we go?π€π€π€
So here is our excited face early in the morning ready to explore the City of London!πππ
Being our first time in London, we did a lot of research where to visit. We highlighted all the attractions and conquer the attractions by area so that we donβt waste time travelling as London is super duper big.πππ
For today, we will be heading to the following 5 attractions:
- Tower of LondonΒ – a famous historical castle in the worldπ
- Tower Bridge – one of the finest bridgeπ
- HMS BelfastΒ – a historical war shipπ³
- The London Bridge Experience –Β Top horror attraction in the Worldπ
- Hop on and Hop off Bus TourΒ – Iconic way to get around London attractions and landmarkπ
We then bought a 3 days London Pass which we will be able to visit many of the attractions in London at just one single price.
With this pass, we will just need to flash and enter the attractions. Very easy and straightforward!πππ
Tower of London
The top 10 attractions recommended from London Pass is Tower of London. Hence, we decided to make this our first attraction of the day.π°
This is a historic castle in London. The architecture are all very well maintained.
This place used to be a prison and even a Mini Zoo. It is located at the North bank of river Thames.
Top things we see and do in Tower of London:
- White Tower
- Yeoman Warders
- Tower torture
- Medieval Palace
- The ravens
- Royal Beasts
- The Crown Jewels
White Tower

The White Tower
The white tower is a very famous castle in the world.
The history behind the building of this tower is to deter foreign invaders and terrify Londoners.
In this white tower, it is a heritage site where they also house Royal Armories collections and armor display.π πππ₯
Yeoman Warders

New taking a photo with the Yeoman Warden
As we walked into the Tower of London, we managed to see the Yeoman Warders standing guard.πππ
They are the ceremonial guardians of the Tower of London. For those that are interested to listen to the tales of imprisonment, execution and torture, there is a Yeoman Warder tour every 30 minutes near the entrance.
Quick Fact: Yeoman Warders are required to have served in the armed forces with an honorable record for at least 22 years.
Tower torture
In this tower torture, we can see the torture room and torture instrument being used in the tower. There is a display of Manacle torture instrument where they would hang the hands and leg and lift him off the floor.π©π©π©
Medieval Palace
The Medieval Palace is a luxurious palace and a recreation place for the Kings and Queens.π€΄πΈ
In this palace, It is also a place where children lived and play.πΆπ»π¦πΌπ§πΌ
The Ravens
Ravens are known as the Guardians of the Tower. You can also spot the Ravens in the Tower of London. These Ravens are from the crow family and only respond to the Raven master. Β π¦ π¦ π¦
Royal Beast
In the past, there are hundreds of exotic creatures inside the Tower of London-Exotic tower. These exotic creatures are given as Royal Gift. These creatures that arrived in the towers are lion, polar bear, elephants, tiger, kangaroo and Ostrich.π―π¦ππ
The Crown Jewels
This is a place not to be missed. In the Crown Jewels exhibition, we managed to see many different sparkling crowns of the Royal collection with extraordinary diamonds in the world that are still regularly used by the Queen. Bling blingβ¦πππ
Unfortunately, we are not able to take photos in this section. Oh well, these collections can only be recorded in my brain.πΈ
Conclusion
In the palace, you can also expect to see people dressing in traditional costumes to re-enact the scenes in the palace.πππ
I guessed I am overloaded with the history over in the Tower of London. Time to move on to my next attraction of the day!
Bye Bye Tower of London. It was a magnificent place where we go back in time and stepping into 1000 years of history! Indeed a surprising and dramatic history! For me, I canβt imagine bringing lion and tiger into the palace!πππ

London Tower Bridge
London Tower Bridge is just less than 5 minutes walk from the Tower of London.π
London Tower Bridge was built more than 100 years ago to smoothen the traffic and at the same time maintaining river access. And yes, what this bridge can do is to lift up the roadway for passing ships. Impressive, isnβt it!π³π€π₯
London bridge is a combination of a movable and suspension bridge.π
Due to its great engineering technology, it is one of the famous and recognizableΒ structure in the World.π
β Most iconic crossing River Thames!

As we approach lunch time, time to roam around to see whatβs nearby. Within minutes, we found a restaurant, Strada which has lunch special that is very worth the price. It is a modern Italian restaurant withΒ daily special menu and for today it is regular pizza for 5 Pound.
Β It is super cheap and super delicious!!! Yummy!πππ
We decided to try it out as we were so hungry after walking around Tower of London and Tower Bridge!

HMS Belfast
After a real satisfying lunch, we walked towards HMS Belfast. The walk takes less than 5 minutes. It is so convenient that attractions are just in the vicinity so we donβt have to travel too far.
HMS Belfast is a very sturdy and strong cruiser.βοΈπ’
It used to be a warship and Europeβs only surviving 2nd World War Cruiser. Now it has been decommissioned and is a museum ship located in River Thames.π

Us posing at the front of HMS Belfast
Entering into HMS Belfast, we are given an audio guide to provide insights of this historical warship. There are stories of 2nd War War on how the crews survive on board.π©πΌββοΈπ¨π»ββοΈ
One will be able to feel how life is in the warship in the sea.

Climbing down to the boiler and engine room
βΌοΈThere are a total of 9 decks in this warship where you can climb up and down to visit the different areas such as dental office, sick bay, captain seat and also the machinery rooms.
As we walked into the warship, we are able to see things that we donβt usually see like the torpedo.
They are able to fire the torpedos and missiles during the war.
From the captainβs seat, we are able to have a nice good view over river Thames.π
This whole place is so self sufficient and huge that made us felt like we are on the cruise.π³

A top view of HMS Belfast from the top of the deck.
This is a pretty cool place to visit and learn about the history of the battleship and also how impressive the interior of this battleship is.

The London Bridge experience
We pretty much had no idea what this attraction is.
Or well, we thought that this is another Bridge exhibition.
We are so so wrong⦠This attraction is known as
Londonβs scariest Attraction where it brings history, horror and fear.
This attraction is travelling back in time to experience the adventure and history of mock up rooms.π»πππ€ΉπΌββοΈ
It is an interactive tour where actors are convincing but at the same time it is terrifying.π΅π΅π΅
The guided tour is like a haunted house tour which is not for faint hearted. It feels like a Halloween horror night but it was so exciting and fun to us!π€π€π€
This place is transformed into terrifying territory of different sections where guests will move from one place to another. This makes us feel like we are immersed in the depth of horror.π¬π¬π¬
Alright, I shall not be spoiler. I would strongly recommend this tour as I had so much fun walking through the different rooms together with the technology ghost house with costumed guides taking visitors through Londonβs darker Period.πππ
No photo taking inside the London Bridge Experience so…
Imagine, enjoy and explore!β€οΈ

In Chinatown – Four seasons Restaurant!
It has been more than 10 days since we last had Chinese food. There isnβt much food options in Iceland. So see my elated face with our favourite food on the table.

Roasted duck in Herbal sauce
Dadang, this is the legendary roast duck that everyone talks about!π
Four Season restaurant is famous for its Roast Duck and being known for the Best Roast Duck in the world.π
Indeed, the duck is very juicy and taste awesome. I would say that it is better than most of the ducks that I have eaten! Strongly recommend to try when you are there! Β β

Fresh Nai Bai vegetables with Mushroom

Wanton dumpling noodle
For the Wanton dumpling noodles, I felt that it has the yellowish noodles taste which I didnβt like it so much!
Nevertheless, we still finish it as we have been deprived of Chinese Food. kekekeβ¦πππ
