What is the first thing that came to your mind when You see the word EAT, PLAY, LOVE?❤️
For me, it was the movie from Robert Julia that I thought of! EAT, PRAY, LOVE!😂😂😂
Immediately, I think of how relaxing and nice to be at the paddy field in UBUD Bali! Enjoying life(Eat), finding spiritual(Pray), and falling in Love (Love).😍😍😍
Oh well, that’s the storyline that Elizabeth Gilbert ended her year in Bali!
Guess I am dreaming about my next Vacation!✈️✈️✈️
Back to Singapore, today we explored a cosy Thai-Western cafe in Aliwal Street. It is located at Aliwal Art Centre-Eat Play Love cafe.🍛🍛🍛
It is not any ordinary cafe where we usually cafe hop to try nice desserts and brunch.🍽🍽🍽
This cafe serves Thai Cuisine and also has a kids craft corner where kids can have fun with the activities.🎭🤹🏼♂️🎪🖍
For the ordering of food, it is very manual as we have to write the food we want onto this mini piece of paper. There is also no numbering which means we have to write the items in full.📝✏️📝✏️
In this cafe, adults can enjoy their meals while children can enjoy at the art’s corner making their DIY art and craft. There are also many childhood games that we used to play when we were young! You can also get it here and play with your kids.✂️🖌✒️📏📚📝Eat Play Love offer foil art, paper puppets, DIY dolls & monsters.
Kids can choose anything they want to handmake. 👧🏼👧🏼👧🏼Most kids really enjoy the unique experience of colouring the Shrink plastic where they can draw, cut, colour, bake their own masterpiece.😋😋😋
It is pretty heartwarming to see kids enjoying their time doing art and craft as on most days, kids nowadays are always playing with the smart phones!🖍🖍🖍

After looking around this cafe, it’s time to order some food to EAT!🍽🍽🍽
While looking at the menu, everything looks appetizing!🍱🍝🍜🍲
The Number 1 food that I wanted to order is the Mini Winglet.🍖🍖🍖
The Number 2 food is Tom Yam Spaghetti!🍜🍜🍜
Mini Winglet($7.50 for 10 pieces)
I really love this Mini Winglet and would definitely recommend to try this.😄😄😄
The wing is very crispy and not too dry. It is easy to eat as it is just one side of the wing.👍👍👍
Somehow, it just felt really like the ones that I had in Bangkok! It just make me feels like going back to Bangkok!❤️
Creamy Tom Yam Spaghetti($13.50)
This is really delicious and yummy. The Tom Yam is very creamy rich and the tom yam sauce is not too spicy. There are also spices of lemon grass.
In this dish, there are also my favourite ingredients such as Mushroom, prawns and fish. The fish is very soft and smooth too! 😄😄😄
Drinks- Thai Iced Tea and Lychee Iced Tea($4.50 each)
Both drinks are very tasty but it is a little bit too sweet for us.
I added plain water to dilute the Thai Iced Tea.
For the Lychee Tea, I felt that it is just normal as it felt like bottled ice lemon tea.
Green Curry Baked Rice($12.50)
This is a pretty exciting dish as we don’t usually see Green Curry Baked rice. Most of the times, we will just order Green Curry from Thai Food. Green Curry is TowkayNew’s favourite Thai food so is one of his MUST TRY for him.😂😂😂
From the first bite, it felt like Indian rice mixed with green vegetables and green curry topped with cheese.😋😋😋
It is actually not what we expected. Nevertheless, it is still notchbad la.👍
Mango Sticky rice($6.50)
In Thai cuisine, we definitely cannot miss the Mango sticky rice. The mango is sweet and rice is really fragrant. The mango and rice give good combination of Mango sticky rice together with the coconut sauce.🍨🍨🍨
This Smore Waffles is what makes me think of going back to this cafe again! The waffles is just so crispy and thin and topped with ice cream and marshmallow is just so good that we kept licking the folks and cannot stop eating!😍😍😍
Definitely going back soon for more!🤠🤠🤠
Here is our happy and satisfied face after our dinner at EAT PLAY LOVE cafe!✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼
Just a side note, Eat Play Love cafe also provide birthday and celebration package for kids at pretty reasonable price at about $30 per pax.
